Additionally, car polish seals the paint like an invisible barrier. You should always begin waxing just after washing and drying your car.
After drying the car, apply the car polish one section at a time to the car. I would suggest testing your car polish on a small, non-visible section to make sure that it won’t have adverse effects on the finish. I like to start at the top of the car and work down because there is a better chance of dirt being left on the bottom of the car.
