The best way to car wax your car is by following a few important points. First wash your car thoroughly with clean water by using a hose and care should be taken that you keep the windows closed. You can do it yourself (or make one of your kids do it, in which case, there are three options for getting your car waxed) or take it to a detailer and have the professionals do it. It seems to me that when I have professionals wax my car, it lasts a lot longer than when I do it. It could be that they are using better car wax or that I just have bad technique. Actually, car washing is just as important as waxing, especially if you live in an area where the roads are treated with salt in the winter. I like to add washing my car to my weekly routine. I save up quarters in the car that I get as change and use them to run through the car wash. It does not cost much and only takes about five minutes per week, but it will add so much life onto the car. But back to car polishing.
