Car wax is a greasy substance used to polish the surface of car. Car wax can be made up of various chemicals and is used generally after thorough cleaning of cars. Car wax and polish were considered to be different earlier.While car wax takes care primarily of the oxidation of metallic parts, polish is a cleaning compound that removes impurities from the paint which prepares it for waxing, sealing, or protecting. However, this difference is vanishing with the arrival of new hybrid products that help achieving both the aims with just one chemical applied to a vehicle.
Waxing increases the gloss and depth apart from the shine of a painted surface and ultimately this results in providing more protection. Wax comes in many forms such as cream, paste, and liquid. The most common and celebrated type contain carnauba which is a chemical containing high amounts of fatty acids. It is this fatty acid in the chemical carnuba that creates a shield between the paint over the metallic surface and the material that tends to form over it modicum layer hence the surface is protected along with a beautiful luster. Man made waxes also form a UV protective layer over a surface and protect the paint from the direct action of sun rays which may cause loss of paint from over it. Synthetic wax creates a high gloss while carnauba waxes give a warm and wet looking finish.
Scientist are everyday struggling to give more substitutes for the conventional chemicals for car wax. The main aim is to give car lovers a product that gives their car a new look with optimum protection from external threat and soon such products will dominate the market

I have seen recommendations for two separate sponges to be used, one for the wheels and one for the chassis, if you would like.
After you have rinsed the soap off of your car, it is a good idea to dry the outside of the windows, at least. It is best to wipe down the windshield and windows inside the car with some household glass cleaner and paper towel. Protective rubber spray to keep your tires from cracking can be a good investment. This will keep your tires from cracking and weakening in the heat.

Due to the mass commercialization and the popularity of car polish, it is readily available in stores. It will not be an oversimplification to suggest that the car polish is a variant of sand. In fact the sand also shines the surface but the only difference between the two substance lies in the abrasive nature of the car polish which makes it stick, harden and shine, at the same time. Certain natural colors like red are exposed to the natural sunlight that makes them vulnerable to rust. Car polish acts to preserve the car paint and protects it from getting dull.

I like to work from top to bottom on the car because there is usually more dirt at the bottom of the car that I do not want to rub around to the other sections of the car. I make the bottom of the car the final section because I do not want to scratch up my paint.
Once you have finishing the process of applying car polish, buff the car to a shine with a soft cloth, which will make it nice and shiny. This process may seem like a real pain in the neck, but in the long run, it will save you a lot of money. Years of life will be added to your car, as will dollar signs if you ever trade or sell your vehicle.

A car is a reflection of who you are. A car is a way to get around on the East Coast. Even if you do not pimp out your car and just use it to get around in California, the sun can eat away at your car pretty quickly. Car wax is, therefore, a necessity there to protect your car. Regular waxing will keep your car looking as new as when you bought it.

It is recommended to occasionally use a power washer to remove anything that might not come loose with regular washing. Hold the nozzle at a safe distance, so you do not risk peeling off any loose paint. I am a bit fearful of those power washers, so stick with the old fashioned car washing method. To dry your car, use a waffle weave cloth or synthetic or natural microfiber towel. Get the car wax ready, now that your car is dry.
