Applying car wax periodically to the surface of a car gives it a sheen and keeps it looking new for a long time. Shopping online will give you many choices of car wax brands suitable for your car. Reading consumer reports about the different brands of car wax will help the customer make an educated choice among brands. Applying Car Wax is good for the car for it prevents the paint on the car from fading and reacting to chemicals and prevents rust.

Applying car wax every few months makes the car look shining and new and impresses any buyer who is looking for a used car. Car polishes are not the same as car wax because they merely buff the car and remove any dust accumulated on the surface while car wax gives a clean protective and shining coat to the paint of the car. It is recommended that car wax be applied every three months for the best effect A car wash cleans the car but a car wax makes the surface spot free When you drive a car to which you have applied car wax often the car will look good and you will feel good driving it. Reading the instructions on the product is important before applying the car wax. Instead of applying the Car wax on the entire surface at once, it should be first tested on a patch.
The car should be parked in a place that is not getting the direct sunlight. This is because the car wax works better on a surface that is relatively cool. During applying Car Wax, you should work on one section of the car at a time and then proceed to the other.

There are more people that do not know the reasons for waxing a car. There are even fewer people that actually get their car waxed or do it themselves. This can happen for several reasons. Many consumers do not know that waxing their cars can keep them looking new. Other people believe that they do not have to use car wax because it has a clear coat on it.

I like to add washing my car to my weekly routine. I save up quarters in the car that I get as change and use them to run through the car wash. It only costs me about two dollars and five minutes of my time, but will add a lot of life to my car. Let’s get back on task to car polishing, though.
Car polish application is actually a simple process.

Car polish and car cleaner polish are not the same thing. Car cleaner polish removes leftover debris such as bug splatter, bird droppings, and minor scratches. With car polish, the shine of your car is protected for as long as one year.
Car polish should be applied only after you have washed your car. Polish your car in only one spot at time.

Did you ever see a car that was old and all faded out? It never would have ended up looking so bad if someone had kept it up with car wax. When your car is not protected, the sun and oxygen can cause the paint to oxidize and fade.
What about car wax? Is car wax the same thing as polish? You will have to be careful when you go out to buy a car wax for your car. Polish is not the same thing as car wax. You really need to follow the application of an abrasive with car wax.

They are slightly more expensive than sponges but are worth the money. The differential nozzles can be adjusted to give a spray jet or a jet spray effect to aid clean your car. To reach those inaccessible corners of your car, nozzles come with flexible extenders which are not too expensive.
There are different types of car polishes ranging from wax, liquids, gels, and sprays. Difficult to remove oil, grime and dirt are best tackled by combo car polishes which not only remove the foreign material but also give the important new look whilst protecting the car paint.

These instructions are written to safeguard your precious investment and may contain an important clue that can prevent the vehicle from getting damaged. Also, never polish the car in a cold or humid environment. Before polishing, park your vehicle in a shade.
Apply wax in a circular motion across the entire outer frame. Be careful not to put the car polish in gaps around the structure.

Earlier there was a considerable difference in a car wax and polish. While car wax takes care primarily of the oxidation of metallic parts, polish is a cleaning compound that removes impurities from the paint which prepares it for waxing, sealing, or protecting. But now days new ambivalent chemicals have arrived that can fulfill the above purpose on single application.
Car wax ameliorates the gloss and depth of the painted surface which now appears to shine more and the new layer of wax gives more protection to the surface. Wax comes in many forms such as cream, paste, and liquid.
